Yeay yea!!! As we speak, we are on the move here in Oakland. We just finished cutting down some branches from the tree that was blocking the sun for the garden beds, which these branches will be used for a fire pit in a party we will have in a near future, very exciting! Our Oakland family has been planting and constantly working on the garden since we built it last february. A big shout out to all the Oakland family...

WOW Spring already..?  We are on the move..!!! The Audiopharmacy band just came back from an amazing tour giving so much and spreading love.. And now here with even a lot more to share; Tropicana is having it's first event at Valencia St, which going to be awesome!; and the Oakland Garden got soil today as well as the Daly City Garden got the materials to build the beds this week. It is all very exciting..!!!

Moreover, There is a lot I would like to say and I am sure you do too. So, as some of us were wondering... When is our next dinner? so we can release all these thoughts, expressions, energies..  we want share, we want to feel..!!!

Greetings familia! The Garden is coming together. We have healthy soil on the garden beds ready to go... awesome! A big thanks to the urban Hayes Valley Farm  http://hayesvalleyfarm.tumblr.com for providing soil. By the way, Hayes Valley Farm is a great example to follow. They have done such an amazing job with the space and provided so much education and awareness for the environment.

Say what?  We are not done building the garden yet?  Nop..  still more to go.. however, we have learned a lot and looking forward to learn more.

In our last adventure, we were in search of scrap wood, or someone to donate to us. We went through a abandoned spot I came across early that day and found that the wood there wouldn’t work for us, cause of wood contamination. We don’t want that where we grow food. And we continued in the search and were not that lucky, though we built the garden beds anyway, by buying wood in the only place you can buy wood in the city, Home Depot. Unfortunately, we had to support this corporation. It cost about $60 (that Javi put down, and looking forward that we collaborate that with her) with other few materials we needed, such as a blade for the saw we had, and a drill butt that we were missing.

Here we are again… pumping those muscles… come on!! 

Last Friday Feb. 15^th we measured, calculated, designed, researched, learned or at least have a better idea of how to start building a garden... We will continue next Friday Feb. 22^nd at the same location.
