Garden / San Francisco

Update Night Tonight #126

While you read listen to some bad-ass  Martin Luther King HipHop mix from my boy ElKoolKyle. This is what is all about...!

Amazing opportunities = amazing growth…  We got it down!
Coordination and organization of community projects are in deed challenging, yet fun to learn so much…

Last Friday we didn’t have transportation for soil, however we did lots of research and prepared a more structural working day for next Friday, March 8

Tasks:
-       Clean backyard
-       Dump existing waste properly
-       Postion garden beds accordingly
-       Transport FREE soil from Hayes Valley Farm http://hayesvalleyfarm.tumblr.com/free-stuff
-       Prepare Planting: type of seeds, dates, water system

We have tools, though mainly we need shovels. If someone has or know someone that has, it wold be very helpful. Otherwise, we might need to rent some. $3 each, not bad… here is the site http://www.sfcleancity.com/resources/documents/CopyofRentalFeesList.pdf

So..  If you are feeling in need of a great work out, this Friday March 8th will be great day for that. The the SF Garden day – continued..

Details:
1226 20th Ave. @ Lincoln
12pm-5pm
Bring gloves, water, fruit for snacks.. oh and a shovel.. :)
