2013 started strong!!! #122

Update Night Tonight #122

Listening prescription while you read..
What is up mi familia!!!  We are starting an amazing year..!!  Many projects lined up and looking forward to accomplish them all.. We had an amazing dinner at the Audiopharmacy home on Jan. 2nd. I appreciate everyone that came through and for those who couldn't.. there is always ways to catch up and to be involved with what is happening by coming back and reading this new blog, catch our CollectiveWave FB group page or by contacting me directly srsaenzj@gmail.com

On the last dinner, I was very excited to know that an Audiopharmacy family member "Magick" had also prepared a Power Point Presentation. She shared with us a future project. Eco-Village, a design for sustainable community living. Very exciting project and something to work towards.

After Magick's presentation, I had the opportunity to share a design of a sustainable life for our community as well. However, this design is a project we can work on right now. For some of us that missed the last dinner it will be a little difficult to understand how this design will work, though I am creating a video to upload to this blog soon for all of us to be in the same page. Overall, the presentation was successful and I am very excited that we can apply these actions.

In the mean time, while I prepare this video. We have it clear that as a community there are projects that need to be accomplished. At the last dinner we passed around a "Project Sheet" for each of us to sign-in and to write down personal projects and community projects that we would like to accomplish for 2013.

With these sheets in my hand, I have written down the most important community projects to my believe due to our community necessities. If you don't connect with a project or you would like to add, substract, multiply or divide one or more projects, please don't hesitate to mention it. As we all don't have the opportunity to meet & communicate enough, decisions are made and they are always open for change in case of another perspective or vision. We are here to learn how to communicate and grow together.

In terms of the personal projects, of course they are left for each of us to work on individually, yet it is important for all of us to know each others projects in order work together if we are aiming the same goal, as well as just having open the possibility of helping each other accomplish them as well as learning from each other. Plus, this tightens the crew, the family...

Below the community projects:

- Emergency Safety Plan
- Non-Profit Status
- Website
- Consistency in Sustainable Practices
- Garden: SF, Oakland, Daly City
- Community Space: SF space / Nest
- Audiopharmacy Headquarters

- Audiopharmacy Tour: Kick Off Party / Welcome Back Party
- Tropicana Nights
- Fro Sho
- Burning Man
- Halloween Prescription

In order to complete these projects, we will need to divide our crew into departments and create deadlines for each project. It is possible, as you must know, that 1 person can be in more than one department - project.

I wish I could of written this "email-letter" before, on a earlier date and be "up to date" with all my responsibilities. Just like all of us, I have a lot in my plate and still learning how to manage. Therefore, I thank you for your patience and consideration for the next update letter & the next dinner

Regarding dinners. I believe that scheduling them once a month is sufficient. In other words, I would like to work in having "action days" = "hands on projects". For instance, we are currently working on the following projects and need help, coordinating, research, communicating, attendance and more..:

*Audiopharmacy Tour: Kick Off Party
Personally, I haven't had the opportunity to be fully involved with planning this event. However, I do know that we need help spreading the word.. this event is really important for Audiopharmacy, the family... This Thursday FEB, 7th.

*Tropicana Nights

However, Tropicana needs some help to 'refresh' the energy and to began the next sequence strong! I have prepared proposal in order to present at Cha Cha Cha restaurant and hopefully it goes through, and then we kill it...!! click it below..

Last Tropicana Night at Madrone is March 7th, though this month will be awesome.. amazing special guest performers. Please check this Facebook Event Page for schedule and please invite your friends and share on your walls..  thank you..!
