Hello everyone, we had an awesome dinner last Sunday July, 29th. We shared a great experience with all of our neighbors and we spent a lot of time cleaning up a space in the back of our complex where we can build a community garden. We cleared out trash and junk, weeded, replanted mature plants and planted new seeds. We even found time to share and enjoy the delicious food everyone brought: veggie lasagna w/ garlic bread, potato salad, grilled salmon, grilled Portobello mushrooms and other great dishes I don’t remember what are they called… I need to pay more attention on these new dishes. And not to mention, we put out some speakers and enjoyed listening to prescriptions fromAudiopharmacy. It was definitely a healing, joyful, productive family evening. Next dinner to be announced soon. Perhaps, Friday or Saturday Evening.. Stay Tuned..
The latest on good news, is that one of brothers Eric “Red Fox” Smith donated $1000 worth of massive sound system today. FUCK YEA!!! we can now blow up our events even more!!! with out having to pay for rentals or troubling other people…
*Community Garden
We assured that, by having dinners at different locations we can definitely plant seeds, learn how to grow them together & expand our community garden. Step by step of course, we don’t want to over do it. So far we have created a small garden at “The Sand Box”, another one in my complex building and there is one created by Lauren at “Eden Garden”. It is amazing how we are building and making our relationships solid-strong, I am so excited on how all of this is turning out. I love all of you!
*Burning Man Fundraisers Events
Everything is working out slowly. We are getting there. We have decided that we won’t print out flyers at this time, it will be expensive and wasteful for what we will be doing, plus these events are already created and are being promoted already. Plus, we can actually use the money from the printing the flyers for our project directly instead. We will work harder in promoting online and word of mouth. There is also the opportunity to help raise funds by creating a raffle. We decided that the prize will be a Apple iPAD, a cost of $500. We will sell 100 raffle tickets at $10 each and this should help us out a lot. Plus, we don’t have to buy the iPad until we get all the tickets sold, or at least most of them. *New Event “Halloween”
We have been talking about putting a huge Halloween event together. Ok ok ok… you would be like.. What??? Another project??? This is crazy!!! And I’m like… yep.. I know we can do it though… because we are crazy motherfuckers man! I know there is a lot going on!!! And we can make all happen!!! We just need discipline and communication. I believe int this event so much, it will be amazing… nothing like I have ever experience.. imagine our last new years event but double the size and double the accuracy of make it happen… neat to its point, perfect I would say… I will be working on the design and update you on it soon… We need to have it ready to promote before we go to burning man because when we come back we are in full production mode again… we are NON-STOP crazy motherfuckers.. lets do this shit!! No pressure…

Yep… we are doing it. This video will not only help us raise funds for our community, but also will help us have a clear view of we are all about… and what we are here for… for real yo!! So.. I will be meeting with my brother David and a couple other brothers to put this together and complete with all your help.. *Community Space
This Thursday August 2nd we will meet in the morning to check out a warehouse space and sound equipment that we will use for the Halloween event as well as the space on 22nd st. @ Valencia. Hopefully it hasn’t been rented yet. However, we want to keep in mind that when we commit to this, we are all in it together, in other words since we are all together on it, we will make it happen no matter what!!!
The projects just mentioned above, are priority right now. Please keep them in mind. If there is something you are working on right now, need help with and would like it to consider it as priority, please let us know. Again, that’s why we are here for… to make it happen!
I believe that we actually are the change we want to see in this world.. oh yea!! … lets do this shit!!!
