Update Night Tonight! #106

Hi everyone! Hope all is well! I am catching up on this weekly update, its hard to keep up with everything.. ! There is so much happening! Although, I have been thinking in sending it every 2 weeks now. That will give all of us enough time to read and write. However, I will still maintain enough contact in between these updates to ensure that important information is received on time and be up to date. Again, thanks for your time.

RE:
-                – Fundraising Event
-                – Dates for Family Dinner
*Fundraising Event
Ok ladies and gentlemen, we got a lot of work ahead of us and I am very excited about it and hope you are as well.
We need to find a venue, and here we need everyone’s help. Finding a venue is the hardest thing to do. So, please focus on this everyday, talk to people, go online in search of it, find real estate agents. We can pay $1000 for one night, or even $2,000 if the venue is the shit! So, lets do this. I will be calling everyone to talk about it and make sure we are all in the same page. So yes! From this moment one we are in PRODUCTION MODE and will be finished by the end of the year, so there is no DOWN time at all. This means full commitment and no time to be wasted. Excuse me for being a little aggressive in communicating this, though we need to act now… because we need change in this world, in this life, and nobody but  ourselves are responsible for ourselves.  So lets  do this familia!
For our upcoming event, we can use the same design we had for our new years event.
The event is specifically designed to bring different communities together by blending different parties together with different music genres on 3 different stages connected to one sound system. The result from the new years event was amazing and happy we will do it again. The purpose of this event is to expand consciousness and self-awareness for guests and staff, as well as raising funds for our community and to gain expereince Working on this event is already a great experience. We all know that working and creating for what we love (the community/our family, as that is why we exist for). We have started the year banging hard core with that event  we had and we we nned to continue with that energy.  The following is the event planning, and its subject to change depending on the space and the time we will have available. We are looking for a venue which allow us to have an event over night, so this is just a perspective of what to expect.

*Dates For Family Dinner
Sweet! A nice family dinner. We need it so bad, specially since haven’t seen each other for so long.
Getting together is so hard, so to make it happen… we will have weekly family dinners for the month of June.  In which I know that you will make it to one of them. By coming together we can really organize ourselves and will help us have clear view of what we have going on in our lives and see how we can help each other to complete it faster and accurate. That’s we are family, right?
Since most of us work on the weekends,  the following dates will be scheduled for theses dinners
- Monday, June 4th . 5pm
- Monday, June 11th . 5pm
On those days we will talk about the next dinner dates, in whiwh we will change it to a mid-week day or weekend in order to meet with you guys.
Now, the place for these dinners/meeting will be at my humble home here in the avenues. Taraval and 44th Ave. I know its far. But I know you have come visit me here once. And if you haven’t, maybe it’s time.. would love to give you a warm welcome.
What to bring? A bowl, a cup and a ingredient for our soup or grill.  My brother Red Fox mentioned that our meal will fulfill our energies, mind and spirit by combining and bringing a little from ourselves to the plate… DEEP!
We will have music and will also talk about this years goals through a microphone and record it and document it. What we are doing is no joke. We are changing humanities way of life, by appreciating each other as family and re-evaluting our existence by taking action like never before.
More over, we will also take advantage of the opportunity to plan a community garden here, behind my apartment building. A space, which could be used properly instead a dump back there. Specially, since a cross the street from my place is a Garden supply called ”GROW YOUR OWN”. Lets keep that in mind.
So,  I will call each of you to see if received this email.
To get to my place, The “L” muni line drops you right at my door step and it takes about 45 min from powell station. And if you do need a ride, please let me know, I will be very happy to arrange one for you.
Check out the progress of our little indoor garden… it’s something beautiful! I am learning a lot!!!  Though I need to learn, I have no idea what am I doing…
