*EMERGENCY – Community Safety Plan
As we know, there is a lot going on in this planet: Natural disasters, wars, hunger, mother earth exploitation, greedy governments, confused human beings ready to flip out..! World Revolution? Are we ready for any kind of emergency? At least in our homes? With our neighbors? Do you have some water saved? Or a first aid kit? I personally don’t have anything… I just filled up a 5 gallon tank of water yesterday at least… Here is a link provided by the city in order to be prepared. http://72hours.org/index.html
So, get your boxes and bags ready to be a self-sufficient individual… to then be an organized self-sufficient family/community ready for any kind emergency… here is another link in order to be prepared with in your neighborhood.. since it might be complicated to meet with whom you would like to meet in case of emergency.
FREE training
Last but not least.. Red cross training.. CPR and more..
*COMMUNITY SPACE
Wow, I have to say that it is really hard to get a warehouse space.. I have been in search for about 2 years… This last year I actually have decided that I want to move back to Ecuador because everything I would like to make happen here is hard. So so expensive… of course, we can grants, loans and donations by having a solid written plan.. in which it will eventually still happen.. but getting a space is definitely something that will help us get a lot more organized and be more productive by just being together.. not to mention it will save us a lot of money in the long run.. though the main objective of having a space, as I mentioned to all of you previously, is creating a self-sufficient, sustainable family/community in the most artistic way possible in order to connect with other like-minded communities to ensure a healthy life full of love for future generations to come…
Since, it’s difficult to get a warehouse space, and most of us are not quite ready for it nor have the funds for it.. I believe that we can still complete our projects even in our tiny apartments… like we have been doing already…
Fortunately, a big opportunity has been presented… Ras K’ Dee, the lead singer & producer of the Audiopharmacy band has some land up north, just 1 hour 30min away. He invited us to come over and be part of this project in which it is the same thing we would like to do in terms of space… just at a different location… which I actually appreciate because it is with nature. And it will help us gain experience, organize and grow as family… Below is the message he sent to me last week. A last minute notice, but good to know and hopefully you can come.. if not this weekend, maybe in the future..
“The NEST (Native Education and Sustainability Training) in Forestville is a newly founded 1/4 acre community retreat space and future home for SNAG offices in the Northbay. With plans of building a community led sustainable media center, recording studio, community housing, garden and retreat center. Nestled in the ancestral home of the Pomo on a sunny hilltop near the Russian River, makes this an ideal place to revitalize Native plants, grow food, make art and retreat. 10509 Woodside Dr., Forestville, CA, 95436.
I would love to see this space transformed into our collective vision and would also like to hear your thoughts on how we best utilize this space.
Community Envisioning & Workdays Nov 17-18, 8am-5pm
We will be working throughout the day, bring your work gloves and shovels and acoustic instruments. BBQ in the evening and envisioning/manifesting and jam session by the fire. There is plenty of space to camp if you want to spend the night. Please bring necessary camping gear and warm clothing/sleeping bags, there is also no water on site, so please bring your own drinking water and food to contribute to potluck.
Email me with rsvp, there will be a shuttle available leaving Friday night Nov 16, let me know if you will need a ride.”

*AUDIOPHARMACY
Audiopharmacy started with musicians called II Sense in 1997 and then form the Audiopharmacy band to then grow as an art collective in 2002 with the name Audiopharmacy Prescriptions. This conscious art collective is focused on community & family through their music and art. Just like our newly created family community Collective Wave. We both want the best for our environment, our families and our future generations.
I started following Audiopharmacy about 4 years ago. I saw my first show of them at Pier 23, a Halloween event in 2009. A year later, at some concert at the Independent, I randomly met Teao (Founder of Audiopharmacy). Later that year, I started to be a volunteer at their events and then I was invited to their home for occasional dinner parties as well as to their retreats at Lake Tahoe. These experiences with their community (as well as other communities that I volunteered for and have met.) has open my mind and has taught me how important a family/community is, in which has inspired me to createCollective Wave.
Officially, I became a family member of Audiopharmacy Prescriptions about a year ago in which I haven’t mentioned that to all of you because it is a little confusing to be part of 2 Collectives.. at least for me… With time, I met people and have learned that anyone can be part of many communities.. at different times and complete different projects.. though, you would have to be very organized and a non-stop hard worker. Personally, I like to work hard but also like to keep it simple.
Therefore, since we have just started Collective Wave, about 2 years ago… (with our Psychedelic Alice in Wonderland Tea Party Project in 2010 for Halloween) I have been thinking about joining forces with Audiopharmacy for a while now and have talked to them about it already, in which are very excited. (Together we have created an amazing Halloween event this year, didn’t we?)
Today Audiopharmacy and Collective Wave are in need of a website and find this as an opportunity to join forces by creating one together. Which means we all become Audiopharmacy , one family. Now, Collective Wave will be an action taken in order to create communities (which that is what Collective Wave means) and will be a link in the website where we can click and observe the different ways we can take this action. This union of our communities will facilitate the completion of our goals, reach our visions in many ways, plus create new ones. More info about that will be discussed at the next dinner.
Please, if you have any questions, opinion, doubts, concerns.. please let us all know in order to be in the same page and move forward together…
Thanks for your time and hope you all have a wonderful day off for Thanksgiving!!
Big hug!!
